The Author: Furthering Education

I am extremely excited to announce that I have officially been accepted to graduate school at the University of West Florida! After a thorough application process, I was accepted into the Online Criminal Justice Program, which is particularly meaningful to me since my Bachelor’s Degree is also in Criminal Justice. This opportunity allows me to further deepen my knowledge in a field I am passionate about. I’m set to start my classes in the Spring of 2025, and I cannot wait to embark on this new academic journey!

I will say, I am feeling a little bit nervous about the upcoming challenges … I currently work a demanding schedule of 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, and in addition to that, I also have the responsibility of taking care of Bentley. To start out the first semester, I think I might just enroll in one single class to gauge what the workload truly feels like. I've heard rumors floating around that taking one graduate class is roughly equivalent to taking on the workload of three graduate classes, which adds to my apprehension.
